Our first assignment will be paper sculpting! You'll be starting with a blank piece of 11"x14" poster board, and using a ruler you will draw the template needed to make the square. Follow the steps below to make your cube. Ask the teacher for help if you're stuck!!

You'll be graded on the neatness and accuracy of your measurements on this part.
STOP! Once you've correctly drawn your template DO NOT cut it out. First decorate all sides of your cube, then cut it out and assemble it.
So what do you put on your cubeand what will that part be graded on? See below!
At least one side of your cube should have your name somewhere in the art. See examples below of super fancy word art for some ideas.
The rest of the cube is up to you! You also do not have to make designs like the pictures, but can draw obects, characters, scenery, etc.
You can use colored pencils, markers, pen and ink, etc. on your cubes.
